A pain-free and less invasive method to collect high-quality DNA/RNA samples for COVID-19 testing.

The collected samples can be used for various biological experiments such as enzymatic hydrolysis, PCR and next-generation sequencing and are widely used in the collection and preservation of specimens in hospitals, scientific research institutions and households.

NEST Scientific saliva collection kits replace painful blood or nasal swab collected DNA/RNA samples.

Each saliva collection kit is bar-coded and contains the following: 

1. 10mL vial fitted with a funnel

2. 2mL of ITM - Inactivating Transport Media in a separate vial with unique safety lock for user safety

3. A screw cap for sealing the 10mL vial once the funnel has been removed

4. Sample bag for packing up the sample for transport

5. Four bar code stickers

Advantages of ITM:

Patient samples can be stored and transported at room temperature. DNA samples are stable for up to 12 months, RNA samples are stable for up to 1 month. 

No refrigeration is required.
