If you’ve ever purchased a product tagged with the “as seen on TV” moniker, then you know the disappointment when something does not live up to its advertised glory.
Admittedly, we were a bit apprehensive when we first discovered an amazing new line of racks from Heathrow Scientific. The accompanying videos were impressive, the color schemes appealing and the features left us scratching our heads wondering why someone had not thought of this before. It all seemed to be too good to be true; there had to be a catch somewhere. The stage was set for a huge crash and burn.
And then we got our hands on several product samples and began showcasing them to our lab partners.
And….holy cow! They really work! And….they are even cooler than we could have imagined.
Just one example of the sort of excitement being generated:
One rep was walking by a lab showcasing the Adapt-a-rack when suddenly he was stopped by a PI who grabbed it from his hands and remarked: “Wow! This is fantastic. I’ve been looking for something like this!”
Impressive right? Even more incredible, was that this PI was in the middle of a conversation with a rep from one of our competitors!
