Compact and portable LI-battery powered UV-Vis spectrophotometer for molecular biology applications

No cuvettes are needed to conduct quick and sophisticated absorbance analysis of samples. 

To use the Spectropod, first download the free application to a Bluetooth capable tablet or smartphone, both iOS and Android are supported. 

The Spectropod uses LED lights and requires no warm-up time. Turn it on, establish a connection with the application and it is ready to perform.

The Spectropod® provides ultra-fast, accurate and reliable measurements at the lab bench or in the field, and is safe to be used inside a tissue culture hood as well. 

The Spectropod® is designed for RNA, DNA and protein measurements and comes programmed for 260nm, 280nm and 340nm

On average, ~20,000 readings can be conducted before the battery needs to be recharged.
