The largest capacity swing-out centrifuge rotor in the Hermle family, the Z496-1000 comes with rectangular buckets installed. 

The Hermle Z496 can handle up to 4 x 1L bottles at a time, or 40 x 50mL or 96 x 15mL tubes, making it the perfect choice for blood banks, cannabis extraction and other high-volume centrifugation. 

This centrifuge rotor is designed for us only with the Hermle Z496K universal centrifuge and offers these performance specs:

Max speed: 4200 rpm ; Max RCF: 3964xg

The ala-carte version of this rotor must be outfitted with buckets and inserts to complete the purchase. 

Look for buckets and inserts that have the Z496-1000-RBUK designation in the name.
