The boxes are designed with a hinged lid that pivots out of the way and does not increase the dimensions of the freezer box. This streamlined shape lets them fit the standard 2 inch metal freezer rack perfectly. An attached lid eliminates the possibility of mixing up lids.
Instead of round cavities, these freezer boxes use a post system to divide between the wells. This makes it easier to insert and remove cryovials and does not allow for caps to become caught.
Wells are numbered and come in either 81 or 100 place.
Our polycarbonate freezer boxes are autoclavable and can withstand temperatures down to -196C
