The Argos Technologies® Omega Zen™ pipette controller is a lightweight rechargeable pipetting device that quickly aspirates and dispenses up to 100mL in either glass or plastic pipettes.
A simple to use thumbwheel allows selection of eight different dispensing speeds from drip to 8.3mL per second as well as a gravity dispense mode.
Settings can be seen on the easy to read LCD screen which also includes data on battery life.
When fully charged the Omega Zen pipette controller can be used for up to 9 hours of pipetting.
Auto shut-off feature triggers after five minutes of inactivity to extend the life of the battery.
Charging the Omega Zen pipette controller is done by replacing the pipette aid into the charging base.
Unlike most other pipette aids where the plug goes directly into the device, electricity is transferred from the base into the controller via metal contacts.
