These plate seals for qPCR are non-absorbing and non-fluorescing for incredible optical clarity when performing qPCR.
The seal uses an inert, strong encapsulated silicone adhesive which reduces the risk of sample contamination due to exposure to adhesives.
Once the film is pressed onto the plate, the raised well surface penetrates the encapsulation to form a very tight seal on the surface but does not contact the sample.
The plasticized backing of this film is scored on both ends to allow for two handed (precise) placement on the plate.
