Sterile 25mL conical centrifuge tubes fill an important gap in laboratory liquid handling.
These 25mL tubes have been designed to mimic the dimensions of a 50mL but with a 33% lower profile for easy handling in the hood, increased storage in the -80 freezer and reduced environmental impact.
Graduations are printed from 5mL to 25mL and there is a generous white marking space for notations.
The flat blue cap can also be written on.
Just below the rim is a reinforced lip which allows these 25mL tubes to seat securely on almost all 50mL tube rotors.
Our 25mL tubes can be spun to a maximum speed of 17,000xg.
Our 25mL sterile centrifuge tubes are gamma sterilized and may be frozen in the -80C freezer or autoclaved (tubes, not the caps).
